Hi — I’m Lux Elly, an indie creator developing The Asmodeus Eyes.

My initial concept was simple: "What if the 'Status Screen' system from classic RPGs/Eroge actually existed in the real world?"

That idea became TAE (The Asmodeus Eyes) — a mysterious VR system that feels less like a gift and more like a curse… handed to a man at the rock bottom of his life.

⚠️ v0.05 Release Notes (Important)

• v0.05 is the first full chapter and serves as the true prologue of the story.

• New Game Required: If you played the v0.01 Demo, you must start a new game. Old saves are NOT compatible.

• Focus: This chapter is heavily story-driven. Gameplay elements like UI, Skills, and Items exist to enhance the narrative and immerse you in the MC's newfound power.

📖 Story Premise (Chapter 1)

The story follows an overweight, socially awkward outcast with a twisted imagination — someone who constantly rewrites reality in his head like a manga or game scenario.

One day, he discovers a strange VR device: The Asmodeus Eyes. Finally, he gets the chance to live as the protagonist he always pretended to be.

But what happens next is up to you: Will you use this god-like power for your own selfish desires, toying with people for amusement? Or will you attempt to change yourself and use it to help others?

⚖️ The Trial of Asmodeus

In v0.05, you will face “The Trial of Asmodeus” — a test to determine if you are a worthy wielder of the TAE SYSTEM.

This section serves as a tutorial for the game’s mechanics but quickly drags you into a darker narrative through a pivotal event that will define the rest of your journey.

🔄 Core Mechanic: The Loop

"Reset is not failure."

This game is built around a Loop / Timeline Reset mechanic.

• Game Over / Restarting is part of the gameplay loop.

• A Bad End is not the end of the road — it’s new information.

• You restart the timeline smarter than before, using that knowledge to push toward the outcome you believe is "best."

(Think of it like Re:Zero mechanics.)

🦋 Choices & Consequences

I designed the story to support multiple routes and divergent outcomes. You can become a hero, a villain, or someone entirely empty — depending on what you choose and what you are willing to sacrifice.

Current Features:

• Deep branching points and multiple outcomes.

• 8+ Different Endings/Scenes (depending on how you navigate the loop).

• The route you secure now may influence future updates.

🎮 Genre & Style

Story-First Visual Novel. Progress comes from reading, interpreting cues, and making critical choices — not just "winning" minigames. Systems like the Status Screen, Skills, and Items are integrated to feel like a natural part of the world, not just arbitrary menus.
