The BA26 virus outbreak claimed thousands of lives and temporarily wiped out the usual rules. A vaccine with 93% effectiveness restored the illusion of safety, but you were unlucky, one of the 7% for whom it didn’t work... Well... there was no turning back.

Rumors spread that some of the infected were exhibiting strange, almost vampiric behavior.
