If I Remember Correctly is an adult sci-fi mystery blending visual novel storytelling with point-and-click exploration. Play as a bisexual female protagonist, pursue multiple love interests, make difficult choices, and uncover your fragmented memories. This game will feature multiple endings.

THE PREMISE

Welcome to the future. It’s... a little different than you imagined. You wake up in a dystopian recovery clinic with an AI caretaker, a mountain of medical debt, and no memory of who you are. If you want out, there’s only one way forward: remember.

Lucky for you, this clinic happens to have the technology to recover your memories. But... do you really want to? The past is tricky business. Our lives are tangled up in other people. Who mattered to you? Did you treat them right? Were you loved? And... what's with the unbearably heavy feeling in your chest?

• A Hybrid Experience: Imagine if Thimbleweed Park and Scarlet Hollow had a baby. Expect classic point-and-click puzzles blended with branching narrative gameplay.

• Choices Matter: IIRC features branching conversations with meaningful choices, layered character dynamics, and consequences that carry across the entire story.

• Detective & Story Modes: Channel your inner investigator (think Her Story) to piece together your past. Or just cruise through the narrative through Story Mode.

• Complicated Relationships: Bond with eight diverse romance options, each burdened with their own complex histories, struggles, and reasons for crossing your path (Note: More Love Interests might be added later).

• Deeply Intimate Romance: Optional adult (NSFW) routes explore the raw, messy reality of human connection. Expect spicy encounters that are as deeply personal and emotionally resonant as they are lewd.

🍎 Mac: Gatekeeper may claim the game is "damaged and can't be opened." The easiest fix is downloading through the Itch.io App. Alternatively: open Terminal, type xattr -cr followed by a space, drag the game file into the Terminal window, and press Enter.

🐧 Linux: If the game won't launch after a manual download, mark it executable: right-click the file → Properties → enable "Allow executing file as program" (or run chmod +x on it). The Itch.io App handles this automatically.
